Poly pipe RC landyacht
Still no decent diving so here's the latest landyacht design.
This one is cheap and quick to build using poly pipe and shopping trolley wheels. It's the best yet. Fast, controllable and it fits in the back of the car unlike the previous version.
Hi Ceri, There is a small block of nylon (cut from an old chopping board) fixed inside the body with a hole drilled in it. The mast sits in the hole and is held there by the sail downhaul line. Feel free to email me at apnewton (AT) gmail.com if you have further questions. Cheers.
Thank you for the beautiful design, Andrew !!! It was inspiring to me. I built a Polypipe landyacht and founded a club, Thank you very much! Our website www.mzcr.tk Patrick Rogiers, roeselare, Belgium
